The all-new 2017 Jeep® Compass started sales in Brazil on November 5th, and the brand’s newest offering is already the leader of the segment, surpassing industry’s expectations. In November a total of 2,537 Jeep Compass were sold in Brazil — almost five times more the closest competitor within the C-SUV segment.
Brazilian media commented on the success of the Jeep Compass with headlines such as, “In its first month of sales, Jeep Compass takes-off – way ahead – and leads the segment,” and “Jeep Compass ‘ultra-surpasses’ its competitors in its first month of sales.”
With the strong sales performance of Jeep Renegade and now Compass, the Jeep brand sold over 50,000 units in 2016 and leads the SUV segment for the third consecutive month. The Jeep Compass in Brazil is offered with flex-fuel and diesel engine options and offers a level of safety equipment not commonly available in the segment including Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning.
