The Jeep® Grand Cherokee began its legacy as the most awarded SUV in history by smashing through a glass window to make its debut at the North American International Auto Show, and nearly 30 years later, the Jeep brand continues to shatter expectations of the full-size SUV segment with the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

The newest iteration of the Jeep Grand Cherokee is designed and engineered to deliver an unmatched combination of even more legendary 4×4 capability, superior on-road refinement, premium styling and craftsmanship, along with the most available technology features in its class.

“This new Grand Cherokee honors the past, while pushing forward into the future,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand, FCA – North America. “The new Jeep Grand Cherokee L builds upon the strengths of the past in five ways: legendary Jeep capability; the most available safety and security features in its class; the most technically advanced Grand Cherokee ever; world-class craftsmanship and design and it delivers a third row and seating for six or seven passengers for the first time ever.”

Hello from the Motor City! I’m Edward Cardenas and I’m multimedia editor for Stellantis. As a lifelong Detroiter, I have been surrounded by the automotive industry. I’ve had members of my immediate and extended family work in the industry. I’ve covered it as a journalist and advocated for it as a communications professional. I have also experienced the thrills of the industry while riding in a race car at nearly 200 miles per hour. Having this breadth of experience, I look forward to drawing upon my experiences to bring a wide range of stories, photos and videos about Chrysler, FIAT and Alfa Romeo to Stellantis Digital Media. When I’m not covering my brands, I’m spending time with my wife and two boys.
