Much like shopping for a new car, we believe that how you are treated when you apply for a job at FCA US is an important part of what you think about us as a company. It’s an element our friends in the Human Resources Department call the “candidate experience.”
A new study shows that FCA US job candidates like what they see and hear.
According to Talent Board, a non-profit organization that focuses on the promotion and benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, FCA US LLC is among the top 50 companies in North America that provide a positive, transparent and insightful candidate process. It earned the Company a 2016 North American Candidate Experience Award.
Talent Board says the 2016 North American Awards set a new program record, with more than 240 participating companies eager to put their recruiting practices under the microscope. More than 183,000 job seekers shared their thoughts and experiences.
The top 50 companies were identified through a blind data analysis based on their candidate survey scores. The scoring focused on candidates’ direct responses to “likely to apply again,” “likely to refer a friend” and overall ratings.
To qualify for the program, each participating company had to commit to provide a statistically significant number of candidate responses. Also, the proportion of respondents not hired had to exceed a set minimum. No other candidate experience research effort meets these strict standards, Talent Board says.
“The 50 organizations designated as 2016 Candidate Experience Award winners are leaders in engaging their candidates, from the first interaction through onboarding. We applaud these companies for setting an example for their peers and, more importantly, valuing their candidates as humans and recognizing that their experience matters,” said Elaine Orler, co-founder and chairman of Talent Board.
Said Stefanie Thornton, Head of Talent Acquisition, FCA US LLC: “It is very gratifying to so many FCA US team members involved in the candidate recruiting and onboarding processes that their passion and hard work to create a first-rate candidate experience can be acknowledged in this way.”
Companies in the top 50 list represent a range of sizes and industries, from manufacturing, insurance, consumer products and others. FCA US was the only automaker on the list.
