As the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica arrives in showrooms, it will have nearly 40 minivan firsts.
If these new features and options are not enough for some customers, Mopar will have more than 100 accessories available for the Pacifica.
Floor mats, running boards and a first aid kit are just some of the Mopar items Pacifica owners can order to further personalize and enhance their minivan.
Robert Duronio, manager of product planning for Mopar, took some time recently to discuss some of the items available for the new Pacifica.
All-weather floor mats
It doesn’t matter if you use your Pacifica to transport the family on errands or as a work vehicle to haul construction equipment or pack it full of camping gear for a vacation. You are going to want to keep it clean.

To help keep a Pacifica looking like it just came from the showroom, Mopar has all-weather floor mats that are custom fitted to the bottom of the floor. The floor mats are available for the first, second and third rows.
“[The floor mats] allow for great retention of materials that may be caught up on dirty feet and shoes as you get into your new vehicle,” said Duronio. “You want to keep [the Pacifica] shiny and spiffy.”
A “very stylish” cargo mat can also be purchased for the area behind the third row of seats in the Pacifica. In addition to featuring the Chrysler logo, the cargo mat was designed to “compliment” the all-weather mats in the front of the vehicle.
Rear-seat entertainment system
Mopar has the new Pacifica covered with accessories from the floor to ceiling. These offerings include a roof-mounted, rear-seat entertainment system.

The single-screen DVD player doesn’t have as many options as the Uconnect Theater offered in some Pacifica models, but it does offer features such as wireless headphones. It will be available as a dealer installed option and through the Mopar custom shop.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the Thule bike rack. The bike rack attaches to the hitch receiver on the back of the minivan. When attached, the adjustable bike rack can fold away from the vehicle for access to the rear tailgate.
“With a lifestyle vehicle like this, there is always a lot of activity happening,” said Duronio, of the ability to adjust the bike rack for access to the van.
