Jeep® returns as the exclusive automotive sponsor of ESPN’s X Games Aspen

When the top athletes in winter action sports compete in ESPN’s X Games Aspen, the Jeep brand will be there.

This will be the Jeep brand’s 15th year as the exclusive automotive sponsor of ESPN’s annual winter action sports competition, which takes place Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 28 at Buttermilk Mountain at Aspen Snowmass.

Fans of Jeep and the X Games will see two 30-second television commercials featuring the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Compass and Jeep Renegade during the X Games programming on ESPN and on ABC. The TV commercials can be viewed on the Jeep brand’s YouTube Channel, in addition to two additional videos created specifically for the partnership.

Additionally, there will be “Athletes in Wranglers” digital and social content featuring X Games athletes Danny Davis, Maddie Mastro, Jackson Strong and Maggie Voisin in the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler.

Fans can follow the “Athletes in Wranglers” action on the X Games official YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels. Davis, Mastro, Strong and Voisin will also be featuring the content on their official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels.

Those attending the X Games at Buttermilk Mountain at Aspen Snowmass will be able to see and experience:

  • The all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler and the all-new 2017 Jeep Compass, which will be on display during the games.
  • The Jeep Snow Patrol Shuttle Service, which will offer free rides daily between Buttermilk Mountain and several locations within downtown Aspen.
  • A GIF booth, complete with screen featuring a snowy mountain/blue sky backdrop and rotating output display, allowing fans to sit in the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler, where they can take a series of photos and individually select their filter from three different options. They can then share images socially with the tag #JeepXGames.
  • Jeep brand vehicles, which will also appear exclusively throughout locations across the mountain’s competitive landscapes, including high atop the half-pipe.

ESPN and ABC, will televise a combined 15.5 hours of live X Games Aspen 2018 coverage (which will also be accessible via the ESPN App) for those who can’t be in Colorado.

There will also be a series of short videos running across Jeep social channels showcasing the 2018 Jeep Wrangler taking on the wintry elements, and one showing an ice- sculpture of the iconic seven-slot Jeep grille “magically” forming from a puddle of water where the Wrangler once stood.
