The United States, China and Brazil … three of the largest automotive markets in the world already witnessed the debut of the Jeep® Compass in their respective Autoshows in 2016. Now, the all-new Jeep SUV will show its colors at the 2017 Geneva Autoshow, a true window into Europe’s automotive landscape.
The compact SUV segment, where the Compass will compete, is the largest SUV segment in Europe and it is expected to reach 2 million units in Europe alone by 2020.
This is the perfect growing environment for the new Compass, which offers not only benchmark off-road capability, but also the technology, refinements and powertrains that European customers expect, including fuel-efficient, yet powerful petrol and diesel engines.
European customers will also have a choice of three new Uconnect systems, delivering communication, entertainment and navigation features, including a new 8.4-inch touchscreen that responds to multi-touch gestures with pinch, tap and swipe capability just like a phone or tablet. This system allows customers to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
To make the buying experience simpler and easier, the Jeep brand is launching Google’s project Tango. This augmented reality technology will allow European customers to discover the new Jeep Compass before it physically arrives in dealerships this summer.
