Ready or not, the annual holiday traditions of shopping, feasting and gift-giving will be here before you know it. Yet, another tradition of the season that many of us look forward to is opening our hearts to sharing and giving to those who are less fortunate. An estimated 49 million Americans are struggling every day to put food on their tables. The need is great and growing, and this year, Ram Truck is bringing awareness to the mission of Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH) to help make a difference.
Here’s how it works. The FHFH oversees a national network of meat processors and food banks to make sure that food donated by hunters reaches the tables of those who need it. Just one deer can provide up to 200 meals.
Ram Truck has just launched a new Ram Outdoorsman campaign, urging Ram hunting enthusiasts to become part of the FHFH mission. It’s a multimedia campaign that once again calls on the same proven Ram truck owner passion to give back to the community that launched “Year of the Farmer,” a grassroots fight against hunger in 2013. For more about the campaign and how you can become part of the solution, visit the Ram Trucks Outdoorsman web site. Information is also available in one of the campaign’s new 30-second spots called “Donate.” If you’d like to check on the campaign’s progress, follow along at #RamHuntsHunger.
