This weekend, the annual migration of Mopar-or-no-car enthusiasts to the Spring Festival of LXs started. Numerous owners of Chrysler 300s, Dodge Challengers, Chargers and Magnums have loaded up their cars or loaded them into a trailer to drive to California and gather with fellow owners to check out their rides, mods and share stories.
According to SoCalLX, the group that organizes Spring Fest, 1,045 vehicles — from 25 U.S. states, 3 Canadian provinces and one from the U.S. Armed Forces Pacific — are registered for the event Saturday at the Verizon Amphitheater, Irvine, Calif. However, like any good gathering, activities really start at least a couple days before, if not already.
The main way to follow what’s going on is via the #SF10 hashtag and to keep tabs on the Spring Festival Facebook page.
Of course, we’ll be there in full force, including a live recap show, slated to start Saturday, approximately 4 p.m. EST / 1 p.m. PST.
We’ll also have images, video and other stories showcasing the cars and their owners on @FCAcorporate on Twitter, @FCAcorporate on Instagram, on our Facebook page and our YouTube channel.
Our colleagues at Dodge brand (with the webcast and later images) will be on hand as will be the Chrysler brand (@Chrysler on Twitter, and on Facebook).
