Goodbye, 2014! Hello, 2015! As the days dwindle down to that iconic ‘ball drop’ in Times Square, what will the New Year bring? We’re eagerly waiting to welcome five new members to the FCA family.
One ‘fresh face’ arriving in the first quarter of 2015 is the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade. The compact SUV, which shares a platform with the Fiat 500, debuted in Europe and Latin America a few months ago, and is now ready to give North American owners a whole new way to enjoy iconic Jeep excitement. Don’t let size fool you! The brand’s smallest SUV is big on safety and security features, on-and-off road capability and offers the segment’s first nine-speed automatic transmission.
If muscle is what ‘moves’ you, three new models of the 2015 Dodge Charger will be roaring into showrooms in the first quarter. The 485 horsepower Charger R/T Scat Pack, track-ready Charger SRT 392 and Charger SRT Hellcat. Other models of the new Charger started arriving at U.S. and Canadian dealerships in December. Each of the new Chargers has a segment-exclusive TorqueFlight eight-speed transmission as standard on every model. Pair it with a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 on the R/T, or a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 on the SRT 392 R/T Scat Pack models. Or get ready to experience an 11-second quarter mile ride on street tires with the 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine.
Watch for a new level of elegance and sophistication in first half of the year when the 2015 Chrysler 300 and 300S kick refinement up a notch with an even bolder front grille, best-in-class 31 mpg, and TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission – standard. With production underway this quarter, the new 300 will have more than 80 available safety and security features include Lane Keep Assist and 9-1-1 call/Assist Call.
The “X” factor, as in Fiat 500X, is a five-seater, offering the 500 family’s first advanced all-wheel-drive system. Of course, Italian design and personality are included at no extra charge! Look for the Fiat 500X in showrooms in the first half of 2015.
On the business end of things, Ram Truck connects to urban commercial customers with the ProMaster City. Smaller than the ProMaster, it brings plenty of innovation and capability, not to mention more than 60 different accessories to customize your van your way. Innovative features include the segment’s first nine-speed automatic, 29 mile-per-gallon fuel economy, and best-in-class horsepower and torque from a 2.4-liter Tigershark I-4 engine. Look for ProMaster City in the first quarter of 2015.
So, go ahead – say ‘goodbye’ to the old year. For 2015, the fun is just getting started!
