Leading by Example to Drive Diversity and Inclusion

As we celebrate the contributions of women to the success of our company during Women’s History Month, we extend our congratulations to Lottie Holland, vice president of diversity, inclusion, engagement and EEO compliance, who has been selected as one of Savoy Magazine’s 2023 Most Influential Executives in Diversity & Inclusion.

Savoy Magazine is a “cultural catalyst for the African-American community” that showcases and drives positive dialogue on and about Black culture covering entertainment, sports, business, politics, design and style.

This honor recognizes executives that have made a positive impact in corporate diversity, with Holland’s accomplishments being featured in a special section of the magazine’s spring edition coming out this month.

“I am humbled by this recognition and proud that Stellantis has become a corporate leader in promoting the best values of diversity and inclusion,” Holland said. “I believe it is our obligation to be a force of positive change and an example for others.”

Holland and her team have made significant contributions in creating a diverse work culture, including establishing two programs focused on training and developing emerging Black and multicultural talent within the company for future leadership opportunities.

Further, in 2022, the Company increased the diversity of its salaried U.S. workforce by 58%, including a 27% increase in gender diversity and a 39% increase in ethnic diversity. Also, the diversity in its C-suite grew by 20%.

“As we fuel a work culture that enables each of our employees to realize their full potential, we are also advancing the conversation on diversity and inclusion beyond aspirational statements in pursuit of intentional actions and outcomes that have tangible economic impact across diverse communities,” said Holland.

Since 1983, the Company has purchased more than $100 billion from diverse-owned suppliers and spent nearly $7.5 billion in North America last year with this same group of suppliers. In 2022, the Company hosted the 23rd annual MatchMaker, its annual business-to-business trade fair designed to build a diverse supply base and grow wealth for diverse business owners and communities.

We have taken that commitment to growing diversity and inclusion in our supply base to exciting new levels, launching the National Black Supplier Development Program in partnership with the National Business League and MentorWE, a program for women-owned businesses, working with the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council.

“Our commitment to diversity will continue to drive our company’s success,” said Holland, noting that diversity is central to the Company’s Dare Forward 2030 business strategy to improve the lives of customers today and in the digital and electrified future.

Holland is also a co-chair of Stellantis African Ancestry Network Diaspora, one of 11 Stellantis Business Resource Groups representing a range of employee affinity communities.

She has been honored by The Michigan Chronicle as a “Woman of Excellence” (2022), “Notable Champion of Diversity” by Automotive News (2021), “Top Champion for Diversity” by Diversity Plus (2018), “Top 100 under 50” by DiversityMBA (2017) and “Top 40 under 40” by Crain’s Detroit Business (2016).
