Customers looking for a new vehicle have a ‘Must Drive’ in the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.
Editors at Autotrader named the all-new minivan to its 2017 Must Test Drive Awards, which is a list of the best new vehicles “worth taking for a spin” that shoppers should consider.
“Buying a new vehicle is one of the largest purchase decisions most Americans make, so we want to be sure shoppers are not missing out by glossing over a vehicle that could be a game-changer in their shopping process,” said Brian Moody, executive editor at Autotrader.
Autotrader’s editorial experts chose the winners of the annual Must Test Drive Awards based on a diverse set of criteria. These factors include the vehicle being a current or next model- year and available to purchase at the time of the awards announcement, having a base price under $75,000, offering a significant value for the asking price and scoring no lower than a 3.5 on Autotrader’s five-point scale.
When it came to the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, one of Autotrader’s experts stated, the vehicle “will really make you rethink your anti-minivan stance.” The minivan was also lauded for its surprisingly car-like ride, luxurious interior and family-friendly features like stow-and-go seating and rear-seat apps and entertainment.

Another editor calls the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica “a minivan that your kids will almost not be embarrassed to be seen in.”
In closing, Autotrader said the fact that the Pacifica “is both easy to drive and easy on the eyes is exactly why it’s the family van you must test drive before buying anything else.”
This award, along with a pair of new honors from media outlets, continues to make the Chrysler Pacifica the most awarded minivan of 2017.
These recent awards include the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica being named the Top Minivan of 2017 by New York Daily News Autos Team and the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica being named Crossover-SUV of the Year by the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press.
