The much anticipated Chrysler 200 made its debut to a jam packed audience of journalists just after 9:30 today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The reveal complemented the sedan itself; refined yet understated, elegant yet simple.
The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 debuts as the new “face of Chrysler.” So it’s only fitting the new head of the Chrysler brand, Al Gardner, debuted the 2015 Chrysler 200 to the crowd at Cobo Center in the heart of the Motor City.
All new from the ground up. That’s the message behind the 2015 Chrysler 200.
On the surface, the iconic American design is striking. A sleek roofline draws your eye to the front and rear of the sedan. That’s where you’ll notice the LED lights that were designed to give the all-new Chrysler 200 a distinct look coming and going.
On the inside, the wow factor. There’s so much attention to detail, it’s hard to know where to look first. There’s the high-quality feel, the innovative storage and the high-tech features that will leave you asking “how did they do that?” Wait until you see the storage space created by the rotary dial. You can fit a purse underneath the roomy center console.
Under the hood, a standard nine-speed automatic transmission which gives the car an estimated highway fuel economy of 35 miles per gallon with the 2.4-liter MultiAir2 Tigershark I-4 engine. Or you can choose the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine. The 2015 Chrysler 200 also offers more than 60 safety and security features.

Chrysler President and CEO Al Gardner says “if you want to build a sophisticated car that’s really going to compete with the best of the best, that’s what this car is designed to do.”
