The goal for the interior design team of the new 2022 Jeep® Compass was to create a cabin that offers a premium experience while emphasizing both technology and functionality.
“When designing the 2022 Jeep Compass interior, we aspired to breathe new life into all aspects of the vehicle, including shapes, surfaces and textures, to make it feel spacious and luxurious. The result is a modern, sophisticated environment with signature Jeep design elements, high-quality materials and state-of-the-art technology,” said Chris Benjamin, director of interior design, North America. “Our goal was to raise consumer expectations of what a compact SUV interior should look and feel like.”
The updated cabin offers a blend of long-lasting comfort, sophisticated style and refined detail. Specific attention was paid to how elements within the interior were organized, ensuring that both driver and front passenger have access to everything that they need in a simple, intuitive way. The clean, horizontal theme gives the front cockpit a streamlined, modern look and is accented by a bold Gloss Black center stack display with either the standard 8.4-inch or available 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen with Uconnect 5. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it easy to connect and bring your world wherever you go. The 2022 Compass also boasts double the storage from the previous model.
For the first time, heated seats are available in the second row of the 2022 Compass, ensuring that passenger comfort doesn’t stop at the front seat.
The all-new Compass Latitude LUX trim debuts to deliver consumers a new level of comfort, luxury and safety, combined with legendary Jeep 4×4 capability. Features include leather, heated front seats, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, eight-way power driver seat with two-way power lumbar adjustment, auto-dim rearview mirror, 7-inch full-color cluster, 10.1-inch digital touchscreen radio, remote start and security alarm.
