Approximately 300 FCA US employees listened to an uplifting presentation by Mika Brzezinski, the co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and author of the book “Know Your Value,” on March 8 to commemorate International Women’s Day.
At the event, sponsored by the Women’s Alliance at FCA US LLC, Brzezinski offered her views on women and leadership but also stressed this advice might be helpful to both men and women and their children as they pursue career opportunities.
Brzezinski urged “women here to learn their value and learn how to communicate it effectively so that they can make the best of their experience with this company.”
Her talk challenges everyone to communicate effectively by practicing voice control and range as well as good posture. She also advocates for finding what drives you and developing a personal brand that can be delivered in a 20-second “elevator speech.”
